Journey

Here is a map and a summary of my first journey across the USA.

In June 2021, I finally left the State of Maryland where I lived for 25 years and went to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a family special event. From Tulsa, ride to Texas to visit Paris, Texas, then New Orleans, Tampa, Miami, and Key West. I stayed in Florida a few weeks in order to enjoy the nice weather, the beach, and the lifestyle that south Florida has to offer.

After that good time in Florida, direction Savannah, and Charleston SC for another family event. After 2 weeks in Charleston then it was time for me to hit the road again for a cross country trip. This trip was not a fast trip. I did not have to ride across the country in just a few days. In fact I took many weeks riding across many states, staying somewhere for a few days or even a week or two in some place, I was visiting the localities around the place where I was staying. My goal was tourism, see new places, enjoy the time in the outdoors, meet new people, and have a great time. I also wanted to avoid highways as much as possible, I wanted to ride through the back country roads, where you can see the real rural America.

From Charleston I went through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee with a stop at Graceland in Memphis to visit Elvis Presley’s mansion. Then Arkansas, Oklahoma again, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and return to Tulsa where I spent more time with my family.

This was my first adventure motocycle journey across the USA. It was an amazing experience and I would do it all over again without any hesitations. I am of course preparing another journey.. This time, the goal will be to go through many other places in States that were not necessarily visited during the first journey. This time though, the goal will be to professionally document the whole journey through film making by producing many documentaries about the visited places throughout the journey. If you would like to get involved, become a member or a sponsor and keep the journey going.
